Podcast discussing the STIET research program with Jeff MacKie-Mason and Tom FinholtAli Tafti is a doctoral candidate and STIET Fellow in the Department of Business Information Technology, at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. His research interests include topics at the intersection of IT and corporate strategy, the role of IT in organizational practices, the business value of IT, and IT in the financial services industry. Prior to beginning his doctoral studies, he worked for five years as a software engineer and systems analyst, designing and developing mission critical applications primarily for the financial services industry. He has a B.A. in Physics from the New College of Florida, and an M.S. in Computer Science from the State University of New York, at Stony Brook.
