Erik Talvitie is a computer science PhD student in the AI lab, working with Satinder Singh. He has a BA in computer science and mathematics from Oberlin College. His research interests focus on the behavior and the formation of collectives of autonomous agents. In particular he is exploring questions of multi-agent learning, where single agents must learn to act in a world that other agents are able to affect or where groups of agents must collectively solve problems.
