Ben Congleton

Ben Congleton is a doctoral student in the School of Information. His background is a BS in business information technology and BS in computer science, Virginia Tech, 2005; MS in computer science, Virginia Tech, 2006.
His research interests include the social effects of technology, both the underlying cultural changes caused by technology and the design of technology to better support existing activities and the design of interactive systems, the design and sociocultural effect of pervasive systems, and the building of self-sustainable virtual communities. His advisor is Mark Ackerman.
