Tracy Liu

Tracy is a PhD candidate at the University of Michigan, School of Information. She is also expecting to get a M.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan, Department of Economics (May, 2010).

Her research interests are experimental economics, behavioral economics and incentive-centered design in online communities. Currently, she is interested in understanding how social identity influences individuals' behaviors regarding their own self-interests and their interests in the welfare of others, which has implication for managing diversity in organizations and for motivating online contributions.
