Blake Nicholson graduated from the Industrial Engineering and Operations Research department at UC Berkeley in May 1997. Following graduation, he worked for six years as a quantitative analyst and software developer. He received a Ph.D. from the IOE department at Michigan in 2008 and is working at Northwest Airlines.
